What Are Nano Brows?
Nano brows is a semi-permanent tattoo technique used to create the illusion of fuller brows. This look is created by using a single nano (thin) needle to hand draw each individual hair and simultaneously implant the pigment into the skin. When the strokes heal, they heal thinner and lighter. Strokes soften up and look more hair like.
How Is Nano Brows Different Than Microblading?
The look is the same, the difference is in the tool used. Traditional Microblading uses a small blade to cut hair like stroke into the skin while nano uses a tiny needle. Nano technique causes less trauma to the skin so you can have touchup longevity with less risk of scarring.
How Are Nano Brows Different From Traditional Tattooing That My Mom And Grandma Has?
It’s a beautiful and more natural alternative to eyebrow tattooing. Nano actually allows for the placement of hair-like strokes into the skin. Whereas traditional tattooing uses needles and a machine to push ink 7 layers deep into the skin, nano only target 3 layers of skin. This style is a lot more natural than old school cosmetic tattooing.
What Are Powder Brows?
Powder brows (aka ombré powder or shading) is a semi-permanent techniques that uses a fine needle with machine to place extremely small dots (pixels) of pigment into the skin, creating a powdery, soft shaded brow-pencil look. Powder technique will not look like hair strokes. And contrary to popular misconception, powder brows can look very natural. You can chose a natural brow or a defined brow look (hint: it’s all up to you). This technique is a great option if you want something more than microblading. It is also a much better option for someone with oily skin for it will lasts longer than microblading will on oily skin. Powder brows is also a better option for mature skin and skin with large pores.
What Are Combo Brows?
Combo brows are powder brows + strokes in the front of the brows. Combo brows are also much better option for someone with oily or mature skin. Combo brows gives you the best of both strokes and powder. It’s a more polished look.
How Long Will It Last?
Nano Brow range from 6 -18+ months while powder or combo brows can last 1- 3 years. This varies greatly depending on each individual’s skin type, skin oiliness, lifestyle, and aftercare.
Will The Pigments Change Color?
The pigments we use are all very high quality, tested for stabilization, and will not change color as they lose saturation over time. Meaning they should stay the same color but will still fade. However, the use of skin care products that are made to lighten, fade, and resurface skin can (and likely will) change the color of the pigment and make it fade prematurely and unevenly. Retinol products WILL turn your brows red/purple. You will have to avoid such products on your forehead after any semi permanent procedures on your brows.
Who Is Not An Ideal Candidate For Semi-permanent Makeup?
Depending on how oily your skin is, you may need touchups more often. Oil will often cause stokes to fade quicker. People who are on a lot of medication may experience quicker fading as well.
Anyone under the age of 18. We cannot provide services for anyone underage, even with a parents consent
Pregnant or nursing moms. We use numbing cream and inks that can absorb into the bloodstream and can get passed onto baby

Will It Hurt?
The first pass can be a little uncomfortable. Clients have reported a pain level averaging about 2-4 (on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most painful). After the first pass, numbing is applied, and the client is usually numb within minutes. Depending on your tolerance, you may still experience some discomfort. Please refrain from drinking anything with caffeine 24 hours prior to your appointment to ensure that you stay comfortable during your session. No alcohol or pre-workout for 48 hours prior. Please note that you can also be more sensitive on your menstrual cycle.
How Long Does The Process Take?
From start to finish the entire process takes approximately 2 – 2.5 hours. This includes filling out paperwork, creating a shape that you’ll love, numbing, and the permanent makeup procedure itself. And of course, lots of before and after photos are also taken.
How Long Will I Be Red For?
This varies from person to person. Usually there’s very minimal redness and swelling (see photos in our gallery – after photos are taken immediately after session). Usually redness and tenderness is alleviated after a few hours. You can take medication to help with pain afterwards if needed.
